ARANIKO HIGHWAY DISRUPTED AFTER ACCIDENT

Banepa, Aug. 5: Regular traffic on the Araniko Highway has been disrupted, following the death of a woman in road accident. Pillion rider Chandra Kumari Adhikari, 50, of Kerabari-9 in Kavrepalanchowk died when a tipper (Ba 2 Kha 9629) hit a motorcycle ( Ba 57 Pa 5552) at Banepa chowk today. 

She was returning home from the Chandeswori temple with her son Pradeep when the accident occurred. According to the police, irate locals have disrupted the highway. Police have arrested the driver and impounded the vehicle.
